Bishopscourt [Events] 17th April 2015
Neil Robinson Trophy race returns at Bishopscourt.
The Neil Robinson Memorial Race returns this weekend for the first time since 1988 with a substantial prize fund on offer at Bishopscourt in Co Down.
World Superbike legend Carl Fogarty won the last running of the race 17 years ago, which has been revived by the Mid Antrim 150 Road Racing Club.
Entries include Randalstown man Gerard Kinghan, Stephen Thompson on the Penz13.com BMW, Alistair Kirk and Ryan Rainey, who made his racing comeback at the Enkalon meeting on Easter Saturday.
A top prize of £1,000 is up for grabs for the winner plus the Neil Robinson Trophy, with the runner-up receiving £500 and the final rostrum finisher receiving £300.
The first Supersport competitor over the line will also collect £300 while a further £150 will go to the rider who sets the fastest lap.
Practice for the meeting will take place from 9am on Saturday with the first race due underway at approximately 1pm. Admission is £10 with children under 15 free.
